I have to agree with Lee that the news seems to focus on the “possible pandemic” instead of other issues going on. Honestly, I rarely watch the news, I follow a news outlet on Twitter and that’s how I first heard about it.

The Swine Flu is a Flu. I like your post about it. The common sense facts on how to avoid were great but commonly not followed. You’d think people would wash their hands after sneezing or before eating.

There isn’t really a question in the poll that I can identify with to be honest.

My take is that the whole swine flu is something of a conspiracy – I’ve heard it was developed in a lab and accidentally got out.

Here in the UK, since the news went mainstream I’ve also noticed a lot of other important issues, especially concerning government, have received less coverage which all seems rather convenient to me.
