<description>i only sleep about every 4th day. i usually stay awake at
least 3 nights and if i am lucky, i will fall a sleep on night 2. when i finally sleep, i sleep solid 48 hours, and start all over again. I have suffered from major depression since multiple deaths of people at a very close frame of time. i know longer work and believe it or not, i am adapting to being alone and trying to find things to keep me busy. this pattern has lasted about 2 going on 3 years. since i have no close friends, or family near i feel like i can cope, taking it a day at a time. i know what they say about losing sleep and early death, but my loved ones who passed so suddenly had no sleep issues. i am 53 and i struggle with life or what i now accept as this is probably life as i will know it from now on. please don&#039;t hold your patients to what the world believes our habits should be, but encourage them to embrace every minute of life as it is. if you can&#039;t find a cure, quit worrying about what others say. jus t keep moving on.
